This time of year is an opportunity for joy, connection, fun, and tradition, and it can also be a challenging time to prioritize your health and wellness. Check out these 6 tips to help you navigate the holidays:
🥗 Mindful eating: DO enjoy social gatherings with friends and family. DON’T overthink it.
⛷️ Joyful movement: 10-15 minute “exercise snacks” are still highly impactful.
🧘♀️ Stress management: Consider a yoga or breath-work practice or journaling thoughts on paper.
👯♀️ Assess your environment: Stay connected while setting boundaries. Prioritize activities that bring joy.
💤 Sleep and Rest: Plan a solid evening routine and bedtime outside of late night gatherings.
☺️ Fill others cups: Volunteer with a local nonprofit or explore ways to become involved in the community.
There are of course other areas of health that might be helpful for YOU during the holiday season. This is just a starting point.
