On January 28, Woodrow Wilson signed into law the Coast Guard Act of 1915, creating the U.S. Coast Guard as it is today. Originally established as the Revenue Marine Service in 1790 by my guy, Alexander Hamilton, it transformed over the years to finally become the USCG that we know and love. We are officially licensed with the Inited States Coast Guard - If you can’t get down to see us at you can shop our great Coast Guard selections online at AtlanticCoasters.com. It’s a beautiful balmy day downtown, and we are at the Charleston City Market until 5pm. How cool is this old photo from 1915 of Church Street showing St. Philip’s Church? We are so blessed to enjoy this view every day ❤️
