Each year, Memorial Day is a chance to reflect on the debt we owe as Americans to those who have paid the ultimate price for freedom. But it’s also a reminder of the solemn responsibility we have to care for our veterans. Not all wounds are visible, and we cannot do enough to improve the mental health of those who may be suffering - both young and old.
Did you know we are losing 20 veterans each day to su***de?
For many veterans, service wasn't an obligation, but a privilege. It was an opportunity to be a part of something larger than ourselves. Each American has a duty to do everything we can to make sure that those wounds do not go unnoticed.
No one has taken the risks, made the sacrifices, or accepted the cost of freedom like our servicemen and women. To honor the fallen, we should remember the living. We owe them more than gratitude.

Molly and I are praying that those affected are able to find peace....
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the deadly explosion at an arena in Manchester, England The terrorist attack was the worst in the history of Manchester and northern England, and the worst in Britain since July 7, 2005, when 52 people died, along with four assailants, in coordinated attacks on London’s transit system.
