Shout out to this year's Sonepar orientation group for putting in the work! 💪
Last week, 52 emerging professionals and visitors to Charleston joined us to make a difference in our community. In less than two hours, this group collected an incredible 835 pounds of trash, litter, and bulk items from around the city. Now that's what we call making a positive impact! 🌎

Saturday’s National Secure Your Load event was a great success! We talked with hundreds of drivers coming through the Charleston County Convenience Center, educated them about local and state laws, and gave out lots of free supplies to help them secure loads on future trips. Everyone was so appreciative, and we had lots of opportunities to brag on PalmettoPride for providing us with grant funding for this event. Depending on need and vehicle type, we were able to provide drivers with an assortment of supply options, including large tarps, multiple sizes and varieties of cargo bungee nets, a set of *adjustable* bungee cords, and a set of ratchet straps.
In a few instances, we had to hand out our “mock” tickets to folks arriving with unsecured loads (just an example of course!). Thank you to Charleston County Environmental Management for hosting us again this year at the Bees Ferry Landfill location!
Help us keep our roadways clean and safe for our fellow drivers by securing loads in vehicles and trailers! Together, WE keep Charleston beautiful.

The Greatest Charleston Cleanup: West Ashley edition brought together 150 amazing volunteers across 6 cleanup groups, and together we picked up an incredible 113 bags of litter from around the community! 💪
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and spent their day making a difference in our community. Whether you picked up one piece of trash or filled multiple bags, your effort helped make West Ashley cleaner and greener for all. 🌳
