The Counseling Connection's mission is to nurture the mental health and psychological well-being of individuals and families by providing high-quality counseling, therapy, education, and advocacy throughout West Virginia.
📍 Position Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field
• Licensure or license-eligible (LPC, LICSW, LCSW, LGSW, or Psychologist)
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, or similar approaches
💼 Job Responsibilities Include:
• Providing therapy services to individuals and couples
• Developing and maintaining treatment plans and progress documentation
• Participating in supervision and training as required

Su***de is the 11th leading cause of death nationwide.

More than 49,000 people died by su***de in 2022 alone.

For every death by su***de, there are an estimated 20–25 attempts.

Su***de is the second leading cause of death for people ages 10–34.

Many people who struggle never seek help due to stigma, shame, or lack of access—but with support, recovery is possible.

In honor of Su***de Prevention Month, we are currently accepting new clients. Especially those who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts. Our therapists provide a safe, non-judgmental space where healing can begin. No one should struggle alone.
