LifeBridge AmeriCorps Program

PRIDE Community Services, Inc. is looking for a LifeBridge member to join their team in Kanawha county!

Big Creek People in Action is looking for someone creative, dependable, and passionate about working with families to join us as a National Volunteer AmeriCorps Member through LifeBridge.

This is a 40-hour-per-week position with a 1-year commitment. The member will help create and plan parenting and family events for our community, develop engaging activities for families, work as part of a team, and support community-based programs and events.

We are looking for someone who is:

✨ Comfortable planning events and family activities
✨ Willing to be vulnerable, open, and community-minded

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to travel and attend multi-day trainings
• Ability to lift 15 lbs.
• Commitment to a 1-year contract

This position includes a living allowance, healthcare benefits, and a possible education award for continuing education.
