Such sad news for our community. My deepest condolences to all friends and family for our loss.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved friend Jim Fletcher. Jim was a beacon of light to all in the LGBTQ community, providing a safe, welcoming environment to everyone in Charleston for nearly four decades, alongside his partner David. He was one of a kind and will genuinely be missed by many.

A service will be held Tuesday, April 2nd at 1:00 at Valley View mausoleum, Hurricane for those wishing to attend.

Those who knew Jim know that he loved his fur babies. In light of today’s events at the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Society, we ask that you make a donation in his memory.
