The WSIX-HP retrievable packer is a robust, cost-effective annular sealing device that delivers the performance of a permanent packer without the demanding applications. The packer can be set with the E-4" wireline pressure setting tool from Baker Hughes and is compatible with the ST-2 on/off setting tool. Ideal for use in zonal isolation, Injection, pumping, and production applications, the WSIX-HP packer provides a double-grip compression or tension-set seal that can hold differential pressures up to 10,000 psi (689 bar) in temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). A large internal bypass reduces swabbing effects during run-in and retrieval, and closes when the packer is set. An opening corresponding to the appropriate tubing enables unrestricted flow and permits the passage of wireline tools through the bore of the packer for subsequent operations. The packer can be landed in compression, tension, or in the neutral position.
