WOW!! Could this weekend be anymore splendid!! Route 340 is OPEN for BUSINESS, so head West my friends, West By God Virginia that is!! There are literally 6+ amazing Holiday Fairs this weekend between Jefferson and Berkeley County, WV.

So, if I may be so bold as to help you with an agenda:

Get an early start and meander to the west, over the mountains and through the fields, to Jefferson County, we go!

Head to Shepherdstown for the 2023 Shepherdstown Christmas Parade beginning at 10AM, some gift shopping at their amazing mainstreet shops and pop into the Shepherdstown Holiday Marketplace! Be sure to drop in at Westvirjeni's farm for wreath making, vendors and more!

Then, begin a trek back East (shameless self promotion) to Corner Connection for Winterfest Craft Fair from 10AM and 5PM... But, wait... did we mention another parade!! The Charles Town/Ranson Christmas Parade begins at 2PM, and is their biggest year ever!

Oh, and back to Corner Connection, we will have ornament making for the kiddos hosted by the Jefferson Arts Council just before the Parade excitement kicks off! And, you can watch the Charles Town/Ranson Christmas Parade from our Courtyard while enjoying FREE Hot Cider, Hot Cocoa and Coffee! But, wait there is more... the Jefferson County Wild Lacrosse Club will have fresh greens, wreaths and more for sale on Saturday!

On Sunday, Wandering Roots will hold wreath making classes and ornament making classes so visit their page for more details! And, DAY TWO of Winterfest Craft Fair kicks off at 10AM! The Resplendent Miss Write will be on hand for custom gift wrapping, along with tours of her tea parlor and upcoming events! But, then be sure to drop in at the Lions Club of Charles Town for their Yuletide Christmas Fair,

I don't know what else I could pack in to one weekend, oh wait, I do...

So, this is a list of just a few of my favorite things, along with raindrops on roses and mittens on kittens! Now, I need a nap after writing all that, but I can promise if you follow this prescription then a good time is bound to be had!!
