FIP in cats was a terminal diagnosis until just recently. Now a new drug, along with Remdesivir means a great chance of survival. We've had a few cases since the new drugs became available and our patients are quickly returning to normal, with a 100% survival rate. It's great to see medicine advance so dramatically turning a fatal disease into something treatable with just a few visits to the vet and a handful of pills.

Dr. Chau says that she is seeing a significant increase in Ehrlichiosis and Anaplasmosis in pets... much more than 15 years ago. Both can cause vomiting, lethargy, diarrhea. Please continue to use tick protection and double check your pets after hikes or being in the woods.
