🚨🌮 MONDAY MAYHEM: THE CHIHUAHUA EDITION 🌮🚨

Y'all... we currently have 18 adoptable pups on our website. Want the part that's borderline concerning? At least SEVEN of them are Chihuahua mixes. At this point we're one tiny sombrero away from opening our own Chihuahua franchise.

These dogs are small enough to fit in your lap, your purse, your emotional support tote bag, and occasionally your personal space boundaries.

✨ Meet the cast of tiny chaos:

🐾 Winston (aka Winnie) – 7 pounds of retired gentleman energy. Looking for a loving retirement home. Enjoys naps, snacks, and dressing like a sailor far more than any dog reasonably should.

🐾 Bo & Daisy – A bonded 9-pound daddy/daughter duo. Because apparently even Chihuahuas travel in family packs.

🐾 Frida – An 11-pound Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix who wakes up every day choosing adventure. Probably has more vacation photos than you.

🐾 Oreo – 10 pounds, rocking a beard most men would envy. Looking for his forever family and possibly a beard sponsorship.

🐾 Daisy & Missy – An 11-pound mother/daughter pair proving that family drama is optional when everyone is adorable.

Seriously. These dogs are tiny, portable, hilarious, and significantly cheaper than therapy. Someone please adopt a Chihuahua before they realize they outnumber us and start making demands.

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED ASAP FOR CROUTON! 🚨

Meet Crouton — a 6-month-old, 30-pound puppy who is currently stuck in an outdoor shelter where temperatures are soaring. The shelter is desperately trying to get dogs to safety before the heat becomes even more dangerous.

✅ 6 months old
✅ 30 pounds
✅ Good with other dogs

📍We are 100% foster based. Fosters must live in Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland, and some parts of lower PA
📍 Fosters get first dibs on adoption
📍 We will not ❌ share the shelter location

Crouton should be spending his summer learning how to be a spoiled family dog, not trying to stay cool in a crowded outdoor shelter. A foster home could literally save his life.

🚨 TWO FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! 🚨

These two adorable Shih Tzus are owner surrenders and are headed to the shelter if we can't find foster homes!

🤍 White Shih Tzu – About 2 years old. Surrendered because his owner has too many dogs.

🖤 Black Shih Tzu – Just 6 months old. Surrendered because she's "too much puppy" for the family's senior dogs.

Both are incredibly sweet, dog-friendly, and deserve so much better than a shelter kennel. 💔

⭐ They do NOT know each other and can go to separate foster homes.
⭐ Friendly with other dogs.
⭐ Cute enough to get away with almost anything.

🌈💔 Sad news, friends. 💔🌈

On May 29, sweet Sookie crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 😭

Despite all the love, comfort, and care she received, her little body simply couldn't keep up anymore. The greatest gift we could give her was a peaceful goodbye, and we're grateful that her foster was by her side, surrounding her with love as she passed peacefully.

While our hearts are broken, we're also thankful that Sookie knew kindness, safety, and love during her final chapter. She was cherished, and she mattered.

Run free, sweet girl. No more pain, no more tired days—just endless sunshine, soft beds, and all the treats your heart desires. 🌈🐾

Thank you to everyone who supported Sookie along the way and especially to her foster for loving her until the very end. ❤️

Rest easy, Sookie. You will be missed. 🐾💔🌈
