We have almost 250 years of the United States behind us—and if we remain true to our values, our faith, and our Constitution, we can look forward to another 250.
Charlie Kirk, tragically taken from us by an act of senseless violence, was not a politician. He was a young, honest man devoted to sharing the timeless values of our Founding Fathers. He knew everyone didn’t agree with him, but he invited people to challenge his ideas with reason. He treated people who disagreed with him with respect. He stood for faith, liberty, and the foundational ideals that have guided this nation from the beginning.
Though young in age, Charlie carried the wisdom, kindness, and thoughtfulness of someone well beyond his years. He didn’t just speak—he inspired. He led with conviction and kindness, and his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who admired him.
He left behind a path—a direction for anyone who believes in the promise of America, regardless of age. His legacy is like the visible trail of an airplane in the sky: something clear, strong, and worth following.
God did not create us to be divided—left or right—but to be one nation under Him. And while today we were reminded of the darkness in this world, we also saw how one man’s faith, goodness, and courage can stand firm in the face of evil.
I didn’t follow Charlie Kirk before today. One of my sons did—and now I understand why. From the age of 18, Charlie dedicated his life to sharing his faith and reminding younger generations of the values our founders stood for. He did so with enthusiasm, passion, love, and genuine care. And now, I too want to learn more about his beliefs, his mission, and the vision he had for this country.
Those who tried to silence him have failed. His voice, his message, and his faith in America will echo far beyond this moment. This is truly our “Turning Point USA.”
To the older generation: Please, let’s speak with care—especially when addressing the next generation. Words have power. They can shape minds—for better or worse. Confusing or thoughtless rhetoric can mislead and divide, especially when directed at those still forming their understanding of the world.
And to those who believe that disagreement is grounds for violence—what are we becoming? Are we regressing to a time before civility, before reason? We are not savages. We are Americans.
We must stop destroying ourselves from within—because in the end, the only losers will be all of us.
Divided, we are fragile. But united, we are strong.
