Real talk: do you still wave at other boats?

Been boating for 20+ years. Used to be unwritten law: you pass another boat, you throw up a hand. Every time. Didn’t matter what you were driving.

Was out on the lake yesterday and kept count. Maybe 1 in 5 boats waved back.

We’re in the business of making waves. Would be nice if boaters still made a few too.

Genuinely curious what’s going on here. Are people just heads-down/distracted? Is it a newer-boater thing? Or did we just… stop?
