You never know what a customer's car looks like when setting the appointment for inspection and a noise at idle only.
I always think the worst looking, bearly alive, running who knows how, type of vehicle.
This little guy, with the white wall tires is just absolutely amazing!
1990 Dodge Omni 2.2 liter non-turbo. 89,447 miles showing. I believe it has a broken flex plate (flywheel)? Has noise like a rod bearing or piston pin wear. Did a test by disabling one cylinder at a time when running. I expected to be able and tell the difference in noise at idle, but stayed the same. Makes no noise holding at 2,000 to 2,500 rpm or at cruise, even when coasting to a stop.
