We're terrified God might find out more about us.
If He knew our darkness, our sin, the stuff we hide—would He still want us? Would He be disappointed?

But David says, "Bring it on, Lord. Search me more. Know me more. Lead me more."
Why does David lead with such confidence? Because David doesn't just know about God. He knows God.

Intimate knowledge breeds unshakeable confidence.

Knowing about God is not the same as knowing God.
Believing in the supernatural is not the same as experiencing Him.

There's a massive gap between knowing about an all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present God and Him knowing you intimately.

That's why so many people go to church, read the Bible, claim to believe—but see so little change in their hearts.

Do you know God, or do you just know about Him?
