25/8 Kings

These young men were nothing short of AMAZING on the playing field yesterday. With an early morning start having our first pitch at 8am they showed up with a purpose to go UNDEFEATED going 3-0 on the day.

We have won many championships but this one will will be high up on the list because what it took to get to this point. You see many people think you just show up play and win the championship. But in reality there is so much more that went into this accomplishment. For the past three tournaments the boys have been struggling with staying focused and finishing out games. We would start out playing lights and we would get comfortable and kind of coast out the rest of the games being satisfied with one win.

Baseball is a very difficult sport to play and you have to be locked in from the first pitch to the last out and these young me were focused every single game and they got rewarded for it. Not to mention all the obstacles we had to cross to achieve it all. We battled with only have 9 players, the weather was terrible all day dealing with the rain, and having to be very strategic with our pitching. I’m extremely proud of them because they have been working their butts off and it’s always good to see them get rewarded for putting the hours into their development to be better.

Enjoy this one Kings because you EARNED it. Always remember you get out what you put in. So keep working and growing.

It’s was a GREAT start to the season for all of our King teams. Both 13u teams played in the championship against each other with undefeated records up until that game. The 14u also had a fantastic day coming up short in the championship game.

Fall is all about DEVELOPMENT helping improve these young men skills in all areas of the game. We will continue to work hard throughout the rest of the year to put them in the best position possible to be successful.
