Specializing is so necessary in our field where not only do we serve clients across the age spectrum but also across an immensely wide variety of needs. Specializing helps us serve our clients more effectively and confidently by focusing our learning on our areas of passion and dedicating sufficient hours of continuing education to each area to really stay up to date. It also helps clinicians feel less overwhelmed by eliminating the burden of feeling like they need to know a little bit of everything! What do you specialize in?
