Horned Locust Remediation

Neighbor kids gave the dogs a little herding practice when they left the gate open again this morning. The dairy crew has not been out much all year, so they gave the dogs a good Go. Re allocating some of the hay from the truck to the pen always helps in the end..🙄

Harvesting tips and tops.. this time through the crew left the 3-4 foot tall grasses and alfalfa about 10-18” tall and trimmed of all blooms, seed heads and most branches. They ran out of room in their bellies in the last section so they will return next week to finish this treatment round.
