Tri-Tech Engineering
The National Electrical Code (NEC) includes specific compliance requirements regarding documentation and labeling for a building’s electrical service, switches, conduit, and equipment. Our experience has been that many facilities do not have accurate documents or labeling which show the electrical distribution in their facility. This is an important thing to have, because in many cases, knowledge of the electrical systems may be limited to a few key personnel. In the event of an electrical emergency, this could be detrimental to safe operation of the electrical systems in the facility.
