Bad news and good news from Rollhouse. The bad news is our Aviator squads got swept by Xenia yesterday. The good news is Freshman Preston Stiller’s reign of terror on the lanes continues! Preston shot another 433 set (221, 212), tying his career high from last match and booking his third 400 set in consecutive matches. Senior Michael McCann also shot a nice 402 set (203, 199), but Butler’s 2,130 was no match for Xenia’s 2,425. The boys fall back to .500 (3-3).
The Lady Aviators dropped their 5th straight match to Xenia, 1,800 - 1,652. Senior Liza Koewler led the girls with a solid 352 set (192, 160). The ladies record falls to 1-5.
In JV action, Sophomore Hank Amlin booked another career high game (194) and set (341) as he continues on his ascent. Our 4-man JV squad posted a solid effort, but they could not muster enough pins to fill the gap and fall to Xenia JV 1,757 - 1,182. In girls JV, Freshman Jacey Pinkston shot a 239 set (120, 119).
All Aviator squads return to action Tuesday, December 16th, 4:00 pm, at Bel-Mar Lanes in Sidney.
