For the next 40 days leading up to Easter, I’ll be stepping away from social media for the season of Lent.

As a Catholic, Lent is a sacred season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving…a time to step back from distractions and intentionally draw closer to Christ. Each year, I try to choose something that stretches me, something that creates space for deeper reflection. This year, that’s social media.

If I’m being honest, it feels a little scary. As a small business owner, social media is such a big part of connecting, sharing my work, and growing my business. Stepping away doesn’t feel like the “safe” choice. But Lent isn’t about comfort - it’s about sacrifice, trust, and reordering our hearts toward what matters most.

“But as for me, it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge.” Psalm 73:28

While I won’t be posting or checking messages here, please know I’m not disappearing! I will still be checking email regularly, and that will be the best way to reach me during these 40 days.

Thank you for supporting not just my work, but the heart and faith behind it. I’m looking forward to returning after Easter refreshed, grounded, and ready to serve you even better!

Couldn’t forget my own little girlies! It’s always so sweet hearing what they all have to say to Santa! We have requests for a new pet bird and a dog 😅
