Sharing our new publication on informed consent for telesurgery. This paper is the first in the medical literature to systematically define the key topics to discuss with patients before a telesurgical procedure, including connectivity, latency, cybersecurity, contingency protocols, surgeon responsibilities, and patient autonomy. We also had a lawyer involved in the paper draft and critical analysis.

This is a nice multicentric study we did about complications in Urologic surgeries. We evaluated more than 130.000 patients undergoing different urologic surgeries. A published article in the European Urology

This international multicenter analysis from the CAMUS Collaborative evaluated more than 130,000 major urologic oncologic procedures across 180 centers in 33 countries, providing the largest standardized assessment of perioperative complications in urologic oncology to date.

The study establishes contemporary benchmarks for radical prostatectomy, cystectomy, nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy, and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection, while highlighting the importance of standardized complication reporting and international quality improvement initiatives.

Large-scale collaborations like this are essential to improve patient counseling, benchmark outcomes, identify opportunities for quality improvement, and ultimately enhance surgical care worldwide.
