Celebrate this 4th of July Sabbath with us at Celebration SDA Church for a special day of worship, gratitude, and hope!

Our 11:00 AM Worship Service, entitled "The Truth Will Set You Free," will be presented by our beloved Pastor Des Cummings. Centered on John 14:6, where Jesus declares, "I am the way, the truth, and the life," this inspiring message will explore the difference between the freedom we celebrate as a nation and the lasting freedom found only in Christ. Through practical, life-changing illustrations, Pastor Cummings will show how Jesus frees us from fear, guilt, sin, and hopelessness, inviting us to experience the abundant life that comes from walking in His truth each day.

Our Sabbath School begins at 10:00 AM with this week's lesson, "Paul's Ministry in Corinth." Together, we'll take a closer look at Paul's ministry to the church in Corinth and discover timeless lessons about faithfulness, discipleship, and sharing the gospel in a challenging world.

June 27, 2026 - “How to Hear” - Pastor Kevin Robert

Our 11:00 AM Worship Service, entitled "How to Hear," will be presented by our beloved Pastor Kevin Robert. Based on Luke 8:18, this message will explore Jesus' call to "take heed how you hear." Hearing God's voice is more than simply listening, it is receiving His Word with an open heart, allowing it to transform our thoughts, decisions, and daily lives. Pastor Robert will share how we can become intentional listeners, apply Christ's teachings in practical ways, and grow in a deeper relationship with Him through faithful obedience.

Our Sabbath School begins at 10:00 AM with this week's lesson, "Into Eternity." Together we'll explore the incredible promise of heaven and the eternal reward God has prepared for those who trust in Him. Discover the hope, joy, and assurance found in God's promises as we look forward to spending eternity in His presence.

June 13, 2026 - "Setbacks" - Sabbath School

Memory Text: “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us” (Romans 5:3-5, NKJV).

One evening, as the sun dipped over the horizon, a girl was walking home when a dark storm blew in. She quickened her pace, knowing there was still a way to go. A lone raindrop fell on her cheek, then another, and, before she knew it, she was drenched. She started to run until she flung open the door of her home, her father rushing toward her from the front window. As he wrapped a blanket around her shoulders, he asked her, “I saw you just now, in the rain. Why, with every bolt of lightning, did you stop running to look up and smile?” “Oh, I stopped to look up,” she said, “because God was taking my picture!”

What is our response when the storms of life come or when we have certain setbacks in our relationship with God? Do we put our head down as the rain pelts upon our backs or do we look up, knowing and trusting that God is there as we turn our face toward Him?

This week, we’ll explore some responses we often have when life is challenging. We’ll consider how we might use life’s setbacks to strengthen, not weaken, our most important relationship.
