Second Steps Studio

We want to congratulate two of our teachers on their recent academic achievements!

Miss Baylee Davenport received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Augusta University.

Miss Rylee Mathis received her Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University.

While we adore dance, we also want to express the importance of prioritizing education to our students and these two are the perfect example of that to our students. We are so proud of their hard work!

Saturday night felt like a wonderful evening to me. As with anything in the entertainment world one must realize there is always a need to be fluid and go with the flow:) and make changes on the fly sometimes , that proved true Saturday night for sure, but with such a great staff at Cedartown Civic Auditorium and of course Oscar Guzman once again helped us put on a fabulous show .
Thank you to all of my students , parents as well as their family and friends that came out to support the dancers and to support our studio for our 2026 Recital.
Second Steps Studio would not be the place it is today without each and every person that gives their time and energy to make us successful establishment.
Thank you to my Dance Teachers that put in so many hours in class and so so many hours dreaming of 8 counts and embodying the patience that is needed to teach dance .They grow to love each student that they teach as do I. Thank you to my family for being so supportive of my dream. I am so grateful to be able to do what I love for a living. I more than appreciative for you allowing me to be a part of your child’s dance development.
Here’s to another great year of dance!
