Sports teach us some very important lessons in life. Respect, discipline, and teamwork are just a few words that come to mind. They teach us how to celebrate a victory while staying humble. They also teach us how to accept defeat with grace and move forward. We have to learn that a loss is not a failure, but a lesson to learn from. As parents, sports teach us that some things are, in fact, out of our control. (For example, when the home plate umpire is blind as a bat, or your child is more interested in watching the cheerleaders than the ball.)

When I was growing up, sports kept me busy and I developed a passion for them. I would not be the man I am today without them. I have coached our son in baseball numerous years, and my wife has always helped anyway she can. Coaching showed me many things and I really believe that the kids always taught me just as much as I taught them. One of the most important things I have learned is that no matter how much we love our team, there is always a team we hate more. Rivalries between family and friends over these teams, make some amazing memories. No matter how divided we are, we are united by the love of the game.

My wife and I started this company because we know that playing these sports can be very pricey. We have a vision to provide affordable equipment and give everyone the chance to play. This is a start to be able to give back to the community and hopefully make sports a possibility to some that may not be able to play otherwise.
