For many people, redeeming cans is just one more thing on the to-do list. But for Iowa Humane Alliance, those same cans can help make a real difference for pets in our community.

Every bag of redeemable cans and bottles donated to IHA helps support the spay/neuter surgeries that prevent unwanted litters and improve the lives of cats and dogs across Eastern Iowa.

So if your can collection is starting to resemble a small aluminum mountain, consider letting it do some good! Your "I'll get to it eventually" pile could help fund the next surgery that changes a pet's future!

Drop off redeemable cans and bottles at any Can Shed location or in the donation bins at the Iowa Humane Alliance clinic. Your empties are anything but empty when they help pets!
