Coach Que

The victory over the weekend has set in. There's never been one quite like this one before. I've coached in the playoffs before, but nothing quite like this and nothing quite as rewarding as this. I've watched this team grow from a team that mustered up 1 overtime victory in a year one riddled with injuries. I watched this team fight for 1 dominant victory last year and be so damn close on so many more. To this year coming together, lifting each other up and gelling in a way that is very uncommon for only 3 years of existence. But the hard work they've put in, the obstacles they've overcome, both personally and as a team, shows the dedication needed to reach the uncharted territory we're in now. We're into extra games, no longer a 6 game season, now we go even longer, and the sky is the limit for this team. A new season begins today, playoff season. Let's go Cedar Raptors!!!

I try to always be humble in wins and in losses alike and I do not make excuses for the losses. Will I talk about things that I think should have gone a different way? Absolutely. But I don't make excuses. Great team win tonight for the Raptors. Let's keep this momentum going into next week. Back to the drawing board.

Watching the players grow so much in just 3 short off-seasons, mixed with how well our rookies have taken off makes me so proud. Love the Cedar Raptors

As a coach, there's never a time when you're not coaching. There's no off season, there's no off time. I'm constantly thinking of ways to better my players as people and as football players.
