Good Afternoon! After getting a few responses, I would like to move the Christmas party time to 2pm. I also got a text from Shari Neilly and she and Mike hope to be here for the party weather permitting. Please spread the word and we look forward to seeing you on Dec 6.

Good morning! Just a reminder the annual Christmas Party is scheduled for December 6th at 3pm at our house. I just talked with Mike Neilly and he is recovering from a fall at his home. He's much better but his eye sight continues to deteriorate. He isn't likely to attend. Mike mentioned that 2pm might be a better time to start since it will be dark by 4:30pm. Let me know if that is something you think we should do. We hope to see you then. Bring something to drink and something to share as always.

Sorry to share that Jeff Winfield's mom passed away earlier this week.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Kalona United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Port Byron, Illinois at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Visitation will be held from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 12th at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona.

Please keep Jeff and his family in your prayers. Lana was a very special lady.
