Vista Ridge Band Boosters

Congratulations to the Vista Ridge Wind Ensemble on advancing to the TMEA 6A Honor Band State Finals! The final round takes place tomorrow in San Antonio!

A huge congratulations as well to our fellow LISD schools, Vandegrift High School (6A) and Wiley Middle School (2C), for also advancing to the state finals!

Being named a State Honor Band finalist is an incredible achievement, and every finalist has earned this distinction through outstanding musicianship and dedication. Congratulations to all of the finalist bands, and best of luck to everyone tomorrow!

We have BIG news!!!

🎶 Help us welcome Mr. Kyle Norris as the new Assistant Director of Bands & Marching Band Director at Vista Ridge High School! 🎶

Mr. Norris brings nearly 10 years of teaching experience, an incredible background in music education, marching band, and drum corps, and a passion for developing student leaders. We are thrilled to have him join the Ranger Band family and can't wait for an amazing season ahead!

💭 Favorite Band Memory:
All of the times at the back of the bus where we genuinely caught multiple seconds of air every time we went over 10 mph.
🎓 Plans After High School:
March with the Bluecoats and then become a Navy diver and then go into saturation diving afterwards.
