Firefly Cottages Cedar Key

We know Indah has as many fans on my page as I do, and we don’t want to leave you hanging. Indah was diagnosed with a torn ligament in her hind knee just before New Year’s and will need surgery. As I was getting her checked out we found some very high liver enzymes. This could be a sign of disease, but definitely plays a role in how her surgery is performed and pain treated. She might have Cushing Disease, and a tumor making a ton of cortisol has hurt her liver. Poor Girl. But, don’t fret. She’s had excellent care at a lovely ranch vet practice in Parker CO, Stroh Ranch Vet Health, and here in Santa Fe, at Turquiose Trail Urgent Veterinary Clinic. She’s enjoying the mountains out of town in Chupadero and made this snow angel for you. 🐾🪽❄️

I have shared this before. It tells a story of the appeal Cedar Key has for some and its recovery after Hurricane Hermine in 2016. Cedar Key was hit again in 2023 and 2024. It’s kinda beautiful. Sue is now our mayor, and almost everyone in this video still lives and works here.
