Cedar Key Healthcare

In the fall of 2017, Tami and I purchased a Cedar Key ‘weekend place’ and quickly developed friendships and an appreciation for the Cedar Key culture. In the following months, Tami saw the lack of healthcare access and felt that she could provide a solution.

In the Spring of ‘21, Tami shared her idea of opening a healthcare clinic in Cedar Key. This was a big leap of faith, with layers of pre-opening credentialing, building out clinic space, hiring staff, and ordering supplies, among many other tasks - none of which Tami had undertaken in the past.

Through the early stages of developing trust and a reputation within the community, there were some trying times. There was flooding from hurricanes and two building remodels. But through these times, the community felt Tami’s commitment and witnessed the personal strength she had to persevere.

Our daughter, Bri, joined the practice and brought the same level of compassion and clinical knowledge to the community and I could not be more proud as a husband and father to see them both thrive as caregivers.

June 2026 marks the five year anniversary of Cedar Key Healthcare. We are committed to continuing to provide excellent healthcare for our community. Thank you for your support!
