10/40 Hope

Three of us were able to go to Sri Lanka to meet with our coach there. He arranged for us to help train his network of churches and leaders with 11 different churches being represented. The trainings began on Saturday and continued Monday, Tuesday, and a half day on Wednesday.

These trainings consisted of basic tools about how to start Bible study groups that can form into churches in the future and how to develop additional leaders to do the same.

On Sunday, our team dispersed and went to 2 different churches to preach and minister to the people there.

Overall, this has been an incredibly successful trip and has been met with much appreciation and gratitude. Thank you everyone who has prayed for and supported this trip. We look forward to our next trip to Sri Lanka in the near future!

Story from the field:

One of our team members traveled to a nearby region to minister. While walking through the streets, he met a man with a neurological condition affecting his hand. The man had been in constant pain, and no medication or surgery had provided relief.

He asked if he could pray for the man and anointed him with oil. As he prayed, the pain left immediately. Sensing spiritual oppression, he began to rebuke an evil spirit. The man started to cough repeatedly and then became calm. He was free.

The man began to cry and said he felt healed and at ease inside. He said that Jesus healed what no doctor could.

Our church planting teams are surpassing their goals this year—lives are being changed, communities are being reached, and the Gospel is going forward in powerful ways!

But to finish the year strong, we need your help.
