The Skyline 50K is a 31.4 mile trail running event with 4,858 ft of elevation gain that takes place in Castro Valley , California. The course starts and ends at Lake Chabot Marina and loops through the East Bay Regional Parks. The race is considered beginner-friendly and is part of the P-USATF Grand Prix and UTMB Index. Here’s what to know about the 2025 Skyline 50K:
Date: Sunday, August 3 at 7 AM
Packet pickup: Saturday, August 5 from 2–5 PM at Sport’s Basement Berkeley
Race day registration and bib pickup: Opens at 6 AM on race day
Awards: Overall winners and the top 3 in each age group receive awards
Swag: All runners receive a race shirt, socks, and a finisher’s medal
