It substantiates our belief and research in our breeding our Corriente for beef. They are a much healthier leaner breed. They eat wild flowers organic natural legumes and grasses. they are not a profiatable breed for traditional beef ranchers. Many grass fed producers prefer Angus or Hereford for quicker weight gains and higher poundage= more profit. the Corriente are rapidly entering the beef market for those that prefer leaner beef.
