This work is my first attempt to capture Colorado’s remarkably long spring of 2026. Instead of the usual week or two of dramatic transition from melting snowbanks to summer heat, this season arrived slowly, bringing gentle rains and mild temperatures that invited a quieter, more mindful awareness of nature.

This mosaic reflects how the ancient art of mosaic-making can be transformed into contemporary art that integrates beautifully into modern interiors and home décor.
