There’s a first and a last for everything, and sometimes they are one and the same. 😂

Early this morning💭, I dreamt of the late Mr. Steve Garrett. We hugged and laughed and cried, and at the end of the dream…I told him to take good care of Haley. He looked at me and nodded. I woke up with tears in my eyes and this dream really has me sideways. 😞 I know it was more about Haley, than Steve. Must just be part of the grieving process. So, I’m gonna share a little and put this dream to rest.

Haley…You were truly one of a kind. We played a LOT of soccer and softball together, with a little basketball mixed in. ⚽️🥎🏀 You were an amazing athlete. You were one of the hardest friends I ever had and also one of the most loyal. You loved hard. You fought demons and endured a lot of pain. You were wild and funny. Your faith in God was unparalleled. You never missed a chance to wish me a Happy🎈Birthday. Although I hadn’t seen you in years, our regular chats on the phone kept our friendship close. Your passing has hit me hard. I’ve loved you since we were kids. And although I imagine the beautiful reunion between you and your dad and that damn dog of yours♥️, I know there are many others up there, like Mr. Garrett, keeping an eye on you. And probably sharing a lot of good laughs. God speed, my sweet friend. 🙏🏻
