This is JB, short for Junkyard Bulldog. He's our sentry kitten. He keeps the shelter and his peers safe with his strong reflexes, heightened alertness, extreme vocalizations (seriously, do not tell him your secrets), and distinct facial structure so intimidating, you just know you don't want to give this bad boy a reason... 💪

Why? Because nothing gets past Junkyard Bulldog. NOTHING. (pate and hugs for bribory accepted at his discretion)

Charlotte is our favorite ambivalent girly. She loves attention. Heck, she'll accept bum scratchies any time, anywhere, and laps? Well, consider them her personal throne. But, being picked up? Being told what to do? Forget about it, son. She draws a hard line at being your little "pet", but she will be your unashamed void queen. ✨ She is who she is, and to be honest, we adore her for A L L of it. Her perfectly green eyes, the notches in her ears, the love she chooses to give us, even though she really doesn't have to, but she does anyway. We don't need a cat who will pretend we're important or let us get away with whatever human tomfoolery. We need a cat who will show us we're special because all of her love and attention are a judicious choice. 🙏 She might complain, and yes, she has a lot of opinions (don't tell her we said that), but she's all hiss and no claw. Underneath her sassy little Charlotte exterior is a tender and devoted feline ready to be your companion for life. At the end of the day, she wants to be valued and know that her new home will be her final stop in life's crazy journey. Surrounded by good, caring, and committed people. For what it's worth, she deserves it; she deserves it a million times over. 🥹 Charlotte is 11 1/2 years old, but if you asked her, she'd probably never tell. If we looked this good, we wouldn't either. In the shelter, she is hissy but passive with other animals. It would be ideal for her to go to a calm home where she can absorb sunshine in peace, receive ample affection, and be treated like the treasure she is. We know somewhere out there is a wonderful family that was made just for her.
