We had a great question from one of our friends the other day. You might find the question and answer informative:

Q:What is the best storm door for our wind here in Casper?

A:Well we sell Pella storm doors and they are very high quality due to having two closers. However, the direction in which it opens is actually more important than the door itself. You will want to install it the opposite direction that the wind normally blows. That way the wind will blow it closed instead of opened. In Casper the wind tends to be the South West. So if the door was facing the north side of the building you would want the opening to be on the east side of the door, and also if it were on the south side of the building you would want it to open on the east side of the door as well.
