Casey Township is now selling cemetery Lots in the new cemetery. Also added to the cemetery is a Columbarium for ashes burial. You can call the cemetery @ 217-932-2209 and Russell will assist you in choosing the grave space or the Niche of your choice. Township Officials of Illinois No sooner had the National Road (also called the Cumberland Road) been constructed through in 1834, than a line of settlements sprang up along the road. The settlements consisted principally of workmen who moved here for the purpose of securing employment.
