Every Friday we (my 4 kiddos and I) go into the woods and connect- With each other, Mother Earth, and ourselves.

Grounding is a wonderful practice that supports our entire being. Mind-Body-Soul. It reduces stress, pain, and inflammation whiling improving sleep and overall mental-emotional wellness.

Our long barefoot hike helps us connect to the land, keeping us in the present moment.

FEELING each step we take beneath our feet.

We go deeper and explore what we feel all around us. What is our body telling us?

In the stillness, of a few moments in nature, you’re often able to see, hear, and feel much more of what your body (and soul) is trying to communicate with you.

Allow the energy of the earth to flow into your body through your feet. Allow your crown to open and receive energy from above.

Connected. Balanced.

Can’t get deep into the woods? that’s ok! Get your feet in the earth in whatever beautiful you earth have! a little patch of grass, a park.. etc

Join us , feel the difference a few deep breathes with your feet in the soil and share a picture of your experience!

This medicinal plant is not a w**d.

Try it yourself: Use Plantain to soothe itchy and swollen bug bites during the summer months!

The leaves of Plantain are anti-inflammatory, demulcent, astringent, and vulnerary (wound healing). Plantain is a common w**dy herb found in lawns, fields, and gardens and should not be confused with the banana-like plantain fruit (Musa spp., Musaceae) of the tropics. Plantain is used topically on insect stings, spider bites, cuts, bruises, rashes, and burns. The leaves can typically be found throughout the year and be used as a fresh poultice when needed. You can employ any species of plantain—each will have its own personality but share similar overarching medicinal qualities.
