Redeemed

Someone once told me that the true beauty of a tree is not revealed until it is bear. I feel the same can be said for humans. I believe it is why God prunes us with such masterful precision and love. It's definitely not comfortable, but it is necessary to fulfill our ultimate purpose, which is to glorify God.

As part of my pruning, I will deplatdorm from social media (Instagram and FB... but I still have some things to sell on FB Marketplace for a while). I believe it will improve many relationships, and most importantly, the one I have the LORD. While social media has benefits, it is also a distraction and a divider.

Many of us live in two separate silos of information designed to divide us. Algorithms manipulate and create strife. Therefore, I want no part of it. Where you see chaos and disorder, you see evil.

Our God is a God of order. The godless comments and divisive discourse have caused me to think deeply about my time and how to spend it wisely, so bye pretty pictures, sumptuous recipes, and enticing ads.

There's no shade to those who stay. This is just a healthy move for me, so I bid you blessing upon blessing seeking the LORD. "I am the true vine,and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit...." John 15:1-17

Some days are harder than others. Today is one of them; I'm playing with over 300 rings on loan from Gabriel and Co., creating the perfect stack. They will be here one more day; Saturday, we are open from 10am to 3pm. Come and currate your own stack!

We flew away to Las Vegas to explore new trends while staying true to the flavor of Raleigh's oldest jeweler () and esteemed heritage. We walked miles and ate well (yes, we went back to the Wynn for the Asian Chicken Salad a second time; it was that good!). We discovered beautiful treasures and established some new relationships.
