Join us and the Town of Apex Government for this year's Apex EarthFest on Saturday April 25 from 12-4pm in the Town Hall Campus Courtyard!

This year's theme is "Sustainable Fashion" so make sure to wear a 'fit to match! We're talking upcycled materials, thrifted and vintage wear, or if you want to get real avant garde, maybe some "trashion"-- Just make sure your articles are secured so you don't accidentally litter!

Stop by the Trees for the Triangle table to pick up a long leaf pine seedling, learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities, and maybe snag a "Trees are Cool" T-shirt!

Tonight [Oct. 14, 2025] the board of directors of the Optimist Club of Raleigh agreed in principle to a collaboration with Dean Krupa and Trees for the Triangle, Inc. for the establishment of the Apex Tree Archive on sections of the Optimist Farm in Apex.
The first planting is tentatively set for Nov. 15, the Saturday after Veterans Day, when people will have the opportunity and the venue to plant a tree in memory of, and/or in honor of, a relative or friend who has served in the United States armed forces.
