The Narrows at Zion National Park. This bucket-list-worthy trail is an unforgettable journey through a slot canyon, with towering red rocks leaning in over the path on every side.
We hiked about 11 miles around trip (6 hours) and two thirds of the hike was in the Virgin River. The deepest river level we walked in was to the hip. A hike that requires a lot of focus to prevent slipping and falling in the river. It’s important to conserve strength for the trip back as the fun challenges on the way there became cumbersome and weary on the way back and everything turned slippery.
