Raleigh-area friends! The Cary Business Expo will be happening again this week at Prestonwood Country Club on Wednesday, Feb 25, Noon-5pm. No admission fee -- but check their website in case registration is required.

It's the same every quarter. The hunt for the ideal mix for us and our clients is on:
🤔Where and what should I post?
🤔How often?
🤨And yeah... why am I doing it if interactions are kinda small?
Goals drive the decisions for us, sure, but trends help point to where it makes sense to scan your own stats more closely, and guide things you should test.
Below are a few we're finding helpful, coming out of Metricool's 2025 study (see link in comments).
🦉Polls & carousels are getting 13% more impressions than other types.
Carousels, especially, avg 247% more interactions than a basic post.
(Great if REACH is your goal.)
🦉Video is booming on all platforms except LI.
🦉Bluesky gets more interactions (if you have < 100K followers).
🦉Threads is outperforming X by leaps and bounds.
🦉Facebook is very much NOT dead: impressions up 57%, interactions up 56%, avg reach 51%. And video is your power move here for ALL metrics: reach, impressions, interactions, shares and comments.
🦉YouTube continues to be strong not just for views but for community — interactions up by 11%.
Oh, and WHY post, even when you don't see much interaction?
The truth is, LURKING is a big social media reality 😂! Way more people glance, even if they don't connect... and that's a visibility boost that can serve you well over the long haul.
