A little preparation can make your visit more productive.

Before your appointment, try writing down the symptoms you notice, when they happen, how long they last, possible triggers, what you have already tried, medications or supplements you take, and the way symptoms affect your day.

You do not need perfect notes. Even a few details can help your provider understand what has been happening between visits.
