As we prepare to welcome students, staff, and families back for the new school year, the District recognizes that portions of the parking lot are not in the condition our community expects or deserves.

The parking lot is currently the subject of ongoing litigation. Because this matter is pending before the courts, the District is limited in what it can publicly discuss and is unable to undertake certain actions related to the parking lot until the legal process has concluded.

The safety of our students, staff, and visitors remains our highest priority. District staff will continue to monitor the area and implement appropriate temporary measures, as needed, to help maintain safe access to our facilities throughout the school year.

We appreciate our community's patience and understanding as we work through this legal process. Once the matter has been resolved and the District is able to move forward, we intend to address the parking lot as promptly as circumstances allow.

Because this is pending litigation, the District will have no additional comment regarding the case other than this statement.

Illini West Front Office will be closed on July 22nd and 23rd while our floors are being waxed. Thank you for you patience and understanding as we complete this school maintenance. We will resume our summer office hours on Monday, July 27th.

Online registration will open Tuesday, July 28, and remain available through Saturday, August 1.

We are pleased to announce that, once again, our feeder schools are partnering with us to offer in-person registration at each school site on the following dates:

Detailed registration information, including step-by-step instructions and any required forms, will be available on our district website. Additional information will also be shared through our district social media pages and TeacherEase next week.

2026 Clay USA Target League is officially over. The 6 boys that shot this weekend wore their hearts on their sleeves. They competed among the best of the best. Bentley Brown, Braxton Dickerson, Tanner Stonger and Oren Bergmann are among the top 4% in the nation among the high school Clay USA. Connor Finch and Carson Walker are in the 1% club.

They Finished in the Finals

Connor Finch placed 137 out 406 that qualified for the Finals. He shot a 97 out of 100.

Carson Walker placed 389 out 406 that qualified for that Finals. He shot a 88 out of 100.

Both Connor and Carson shot 200 rounds each today. This was the teams first time ever competing in such a sport where there is no such thing as bench warmers.
