*The Dream Team of 1947 by Arno P. Niemand - The story of how a small Iowa college upset all the major powers to win the NCAA Wrestling Championship in 1947.

*Iowans of the Mighty Eighth by Charles Day Taylor - World War II wartime experiences of over 300 Iowa veterans of the greatest air armada ever assembled.
