For those of us in the Lotus and English Ford world , Dave Bean Engineering has been the go to place for years for just about anything we needed to keep our cars on the road or track. Sadly, Dave passed away a few years ago but the business carries on with his wife and loyal team carrying the torch. We’re up in Northern Cal this weekend for the charity race at Sears Point so a mandatory visit to DBE was in order. The place is a virtual trove of parts reflective of being in the business since the early 70’s. Without small businesses like this, it would be difficult if not impossible to enjoy out classics.
