Meet Dr. Hugh T. McDermott, a fellowship-trained pain medicine specialist and board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. McDermott joined Swift Institute after completing his fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. With advanced training in interventional spine care, musculoskeletal injections, spinal cord stimulation, and more, he is dedicated to providing non-surgical solutions for spine and pain management.

He believes in exhausting conservative treatment options to help patients regain an active, fulfilling life. Dr. McDermott also values meaningful conversations during visits, understanding the role of empathy in patient care.

With a patient-first approach and a passion for helping others, Dr. McDermott is committed to delivering exceptional care.
