More big news for the 25th running of the Tahoe Rim Trail Endurance Runs!

International Trail Running Association Mountain points (ITRA) will be awarded to finishers of the 100 mile (5points), 100k (4 points), and 50K (3 points). ITRA points are important to those of you looking to register for big races in Europe.

Also, announcing a slight modification to the 100 mile course. After the start and first summit of Snow Valley Peak runners will drop down the Rim Trail to the Spooner Summit trailhead where the aid station will be. Then double back up the rim trail to Snow Valley Peak aid station (bonus aid station) and continue onto the Hobart aid station. In all, more epic panoramic views of the Jewel of the Sierra Lake Tahoe, more vertical! It only adds one mail to the total milage.

There is still plenty of room for you in any of the distances, although the 100K is filling fast. Don’t be left out of the 25th anniversary TRTER!
